National Donor Sabbath

“My religion does not support donation” is one of the most commonly cited reasons why people say “no” to donation.  To combat this misconception, Lifeline of Ohio has a variety of free awareness materials, available year round, that can be utilized by faith leaders.  Additionally, each November, two weekends before Thanksgiving, religious organizations around the United States participate in National Donor Sabbath.  This awareness event is a celebration of life that reminds Americans of their religion’s support of organ and tissue donation.  Read More »
