Lifeline of Ohio Connects with Local Companies at B2B Expo

On Wednesday, June 9, Lifeline of Ohio joined hundreds of local businesses and organizations who shared their products and services with attendees at the Columbus Chamber of Commerce’s “Business 2 Business” Network Expo.  I answered questions concerning organ and tissue donation, addressed misconceptions about the donation process and even registered one organ and tissue donor on site!

In addition to encouraging attendees to register as an organ and tissue donor, I worked with our volunteers to encourage local business owners to join the “Workplace Partnership For Life” program.  This program offers businesses and organizations the opportunity to share donation information using our free materials, including posters, brochures, prewritten newsletter articles and e-mails and display materials.  Over 25 companies picked up more information on this life-saving program!

Visitors to our table were welcomed by Lifeline of Ohio’s favorite friend: “Honey Bee.”  She buzzed around the Networking Expo encouraging people to ‘bee’ an organ and tissue donor!
