Beat the Heat: Join Honey’s ‘Summer Swarm!’
Honey Bee had a great time racing down Nationwide Blvd. with 18 of her furry friends at the Dash for Donation’s Kids & Mascot Dash July 10. Brutus Buckeye won the Mascot Dash, with Honey coming in right on his heels. She had such a blast and doesn’t want the summer fun to end, so she is kicking off a ‘summer swarm’ contest today, July 19!
Comment on one of Honey’s exciting blog posts July 19 – 30 for your chance to win your very own mini Honey Bee doll! You can help Honey encourage everyone to “bee” an organ and tissue donor by telling them to read and comment on her posts.
Five commenters will be randomly selected as winners from each blog. Bee sure to visit the Lifeline of Ohio blog often – Honey has lots to buzz about in the next two weeks!

We had a great time at this the dash this year. My daughters did the mascot dash & love their medals. Then we did the family fun walk with my nephew/donor & his wife. Thanks to him I have a wonderful family to love & cherish! Thanks Andy!

There were lots of people “swarming” in the downtown arena area for the “Dash for Donations”, including my husband and I. We worked at the pre-registration table to get all those bee-utiful people ready for their chosen event. What a bee-utiful day it was for a wonderful event. Kudos to all at Lifeline, as well as all the mascots. I personally invite everyone to participate in Honey Bee’s events, this summer as well as throughout the year.

BEE-cause someone made the choice to bee a donor I not only got to bee at the dash but had a great time working it (water station 5 rocked!!) Choosing to be a donor will not change the life you live but the mark your life will leave when you are gone. Thanks Horton for BEEing my hero!!

my son was killed last July and he was a donor..since then i have been talking to everyone about how important it is to be a donor..Shawn had made the choice on his own and he was 16… since then my mother who would not even think about it decided to be a donor along with a few others…my cousin now is waiting for a lung…so i am in the middle of both the person needing and the donating …thanks lifeline you are great for all you do
