Bee Merry

I love the holidays!  As you know, my mission is to encourage everyone to “bee” an organ and tissue donor and, during the holidays, I want everyone to “bee” merry too. 

I’m always looking for ways to spread joy so on Saturday I decided to buzz by the NBC4′s Firefighters 4 Kids Toy Drive to give back to the community I love!  I took along a swarm of Honey Bee dolls, hoping to bring sweet smiles to the faces of boys and girls in need in central Ohio.

It was great to see the constant stream of cars pulling through the studio lot, and the NBC4 staff members out to support the cause.  You can check out my photo album from the event here.

I learned later that day that donors contributed enough toys to fill two semi-trucks and gave $47,000!  I’m so glad my little furry friends were able to be a part of that.
