Make a Donation
Lifeline of Ohio is responsible for all costs associated with the
donation process. These costs include hospital charges, air and ground
transportation, laboratory charges, surgical fees, specialty testing
and other miscellaneous costs. We are also responsible for the public
education and awareness efforts in our service area. Lifeline of Ohio
is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization. To subsidize
all of the activities that Lifeline of Ohio is responsible for, a
Standard Acquisition Charge (SAC) is billed to the transplant
recipient's medical center. This SAC is our primary source of funding
and is established in a prudent and responsible manner in order to
cover our expenses for the services outlined above.
All Standard Acquisition Charges are evaluated and approved to assure they are appropriately established to support our mission and commitment to our community.
If you have any questions or concerns about our financial services, we invite you to contact us at any time.
