“My religion does not support donation” is one of the most commonly cited reasons why people say “no” to donation. To combat this misconception, Lifeline of Ohio has a variety of free awareness materials, available year round, that can be utilized by faith leaders. Additionally, each November, two weekends before Thanksgiving, religious organizations around the United States participate in National Donor Sabbath.
