What:

Dash for Donation featuring a 1/2 marathon run, a 1/2 marathon 2-person relay, a 5K run/walk, a 1K fun walk and a Kids Dash (a short run for children 6 & under.) Donor Remembrance Wall: We are featuring a donor remembrance area. All families whose loved one was an organ or tissue donor are invited to create a poster (22 inches x 28 inches preferred) commemorating their loved ones Gift of Life to be displayed race day (weather permitting). Families are also encouraged to create additional posters to carry with them on race day. Families not attending can drop off posters at the Lifeline of Ohio offices by July 18 and we will display them for you. | |

The general public and those touched by organ and tissue donation and transplantation. This includes deceased donor families, living donors, transplant candidates, transplant recipients and the families of these groups. | |

To promote organ and tissue donation and transplantation and to encourage Ohioans to join the Ohio Donor Registry and give the "Gift of Life." By showcasing the involvement of those touched by donation and transplantation we aim to provide hope to the over 99,000 Americans and over 2,500 Ohioans currently waiting for a life-saving transplant. | |
| Use of event proceeds: | Profits from this event are used to further Lifeline of Ohio's educational programs for the communities in the 39 counties Lifeline of Ohio serves. |
