Workplace Partnership

Thank you for your interest in joining the Workplace Partnership for Life program! Together, we are creating a donation friendly America!

The Workplace Partnership for Life, introduced nationally by the US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and coordinated locally by Lifeline of Ohio, provides a unique opportunity to educate your employees or members about a growing health crisis:  the severe shortage of organs and tissue available for transplantation. The solution to this crisis is one in which everyone can play a role, by learning more about the dramatic difference one individual can make in saving and enhancing lives through organ and tissue donation.

More than 105,000 Americans – over 3,000 Ohioans – are currently on the waiting list for a life-saving organ transplant, and 18 of those individuals die each day for lack of an available organ.  With very little effort, your organization could potentially make a tremendous difference in the lives of those in need.

To assist our Workplace Partners with their campaign, Lifeline of Ohio offers a variety of printed materials such as posters and table tents, pre-written e-mail messages, pre-written donation-awareness articles, educational displays and speakers at no cost. For more information on our Workplace Partnership for Life program, please click on the PDF download below.  If your company or organization has specific questions, or needs assistance in planning your employee awareness campaign, please contact Lauren Fitting, Community Outreach/Partnership Coordinator, at 614-384-7333 or lfitting@lifelineofohio.org.

There are more than 12,000 companies who have joined the national Workplace Partnership for Life, sponsored by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. The complete list can be found at www.organdonor.gov.

Congratulations on your organization's decision to become an advocate for this heroic life-saving mission!
