Lifeline of Ohio Donor Memorial
Lifeline of Ohio has the honor and privilege to work with the heroes of donation -- those individuals who give the "Gift of Life" through organ and tissue donation. As a permanent and public tribute to these individuals, the Lifeline of Ohio Donor Memorial was built adjacent to the Lifeline of Ohio offices in Columbus, Ohio, and was dedicated in 2000.
The entrance court to the 3/4-acre memorial features an immense aggregate mosaic of the "Tree of Life," with leaves etched throughout the court to symbolize all of the donors from the Lifeline of Ohio service area. |

| While donation is an anonymous process, family members can choose to have a donor publicly acknowledged with one of the hundreds of engraved bricks in the entrance court. For information on ordering a brick, click here. |

| As an expression of the endless significance that the gift of donation carries, the Donor Memorial also features a stainless steel infinity symbol positioned atop a 15-foot obelisk. | |
Other special features of the Donor Memorial include the tranquility fountain and circle of benches surrounding the garden area, which welcome visitors to sit and remember donation's heroes. Near the center of the Memorial is a podium dedicated to those individuals who died waiting for a transplant. This is a constant reminder that more needs to be done and that each of us has the ability to make a difference through organ and tissue donation, just as those who have already given that "Gift of Life" have demonstrated.
To mark its five-year anniversary, improvements were made in the spring of 2006 to the Lifeline of Ohio Donor Memorial. A walking path, ending in the signature infinity symbol and the addition of three flag poles, flying the nation's flag, the Ohio flag and a Donate Life flag, have been added to the park.
