The gift of life and hope

In facilitating the donation process, Lifeline of Ohio is privileged to touch the lives of so many caring and compassionate families whose loved one has shared the Gifts of Life through organ and tissue donation.

Likewise we are inspired by the energy and gratitude of those individuals who have received a second chance at life because of a stranger’s generosity. Their stories tell the powerful story of donation – of lives intertwined in a legacy of life.

Deb Sohovich's son, Dustin, saved 7 lives as a donor.

Donor Family Cookbooks

The MOD (Mothers of Donors) Squad, a group of Central Ohio mothers who have all experienced the tragic loss of a child, joined forces to honor their children, all organ and/or tissue donors, as well as the thousands of other donors across the United States by creating a cookbook, “Cooking Up Memories,” filled with recipes submitted by other donor families.

This cookbook features over 250 recipes and reads more like a “storybook” than the ordinary cookbook, since each recipe includes a short story or memory of a loved one.

“Cooking Up Memories” is $15 and is available for purchase by contacting Kathy Harrington at kharring@columbus.rr.com or at 4627 Gwynedd Court, Dublin, OH 43016.  Please include your name, address and phone number in addition to how many cookbooks you would like to purchase.
