We Broke the Record!

Thank you to everyone who attended the Candlelight Vigil on April 11, helping us light candles for organ and tissue donation awareness!  We unofficially broke the Guinness World Record™ for most candles lit simultaneously in a single venue and are waiting on confirmation.

It was an amazing, emotional evening and a great testament to the power of organ and tissue donation.  We will have pictures and details posted in a few days, but we wanted to share our excitement with you!

In case you missed the event, see the embedded video below from WCMH NBC-4 or check out WSYX ABC6′s video coverage online.

We Need You to Shine On!

On Sunday, April 11 at 7:00 p.m. at the Ohio Statehouse we are attempting the Guinness World Record™ for most candles lit simultaneously in a single venue at our annual Candlelight Vigil, in an effort to shed light on the need for organ and tissue donors.

The event is designed to provide hope to the 106,000 Americans waiting for a chance to “shine on” with a lifesaving organ transplant, remembrance for those who “shine on” through the gifts they gave as organ and tissue donors, and celebration for transplant recipients who continue to “shine on” with a second chance at life.

The current record is 1,000 candles lit and we need your help to break it!  Please join us for this special opportunity to raise awareness about organ and tissue donation.  Click here for more information.
